    1) Richard Gamble of Pulloxhill, yeoman, John Bedcock also Bedcott of Marston, yeoman 2) Elizabeth Blofield of Flitwick, widow late wife of Edward Blofield, gent. recites - deeds of 15 June 1624, 16 May 1628, 21 July 1631, 28 Sept 1631. - defects in the indenture 16 May 1628 to be rectified in indenture of 20 June 1639 by Robert Michill, William Williams, Walter Markes, Robert Marsh together with Sir Edward Bromfield knt & Alderman of London, warrant of 13 Dec 1639 and indenture of assignment 5 July 1639 bargain and sale to Gamble and Bedcott. - Edward Blofield in communication or treaty with Michill, Williams, Markes and Marsh ‘for the purchasing of their interest & estate for yeares of such parte of the said Manor of Flitwick & Malden & of all & singular the premises to them the said Robert Michell William Williams Walter Markes & Robert Marsh granted or assigned or mencioned to be granted or assigned as att the tyme of the said treaty were in the possession or occupation of the said Edward Blofield or of his assigns or assigned for the procuring of the said recited indenture of assignment to be made to them the said Richard Gamble & John Bedord also Bedcott.’ Edward Blofield died and administration of the goods & chattels of Edward Blofield were granted to Elizabeth Blofield who did administer accordingly and who perfected the said communication or treaty begun by her husband and ‘did after his death (together with others) cause & procure the said written indenture of assignment to be made to them the said Richard Gamble & John Bedcord also Bedcott their executors and assigns as aforesaid’ Now by this indenture Elizabeth Blofield consents to Richard Gamble and John Bedcord/Bedcott their heirs and assigns ‘for the more cleere manifestacion of the trust in them reposed for & touching such parte of the said manor & premises’ for the residue of the term of 99 years until Edward Blofield, son & heir apparent of Elizabeth Blofield, is 21 years and Elizabeth Blofield to have the rents etc in her possession or that of her assigns etc and when Edward is of age he is to get one third of the rents, Elizabeth one third. If Edward die without lawful issue before the end of the 99 years rent etc goes to Elizabeth and her heirs until the end of the 99 years. Signed and sealed by Gamble and Bedcott (by mark) Annotated in later hand ‘Under this deed Wm Bedcott son of the surviving trustee held courts, quasi trustee till 1667. the great length of time, 55 years, between 1667 and the expiration of the 99 years in 1722, seems to have concealed from the heirs of Bedcott that they were trustees of a term and not tenants in fee, they were not even trustees of the freehold (that Trust was in Warner and Sugers vide Deed, with this, 14 June 17th Chas 1st 1641) but their trust interest ceased in 1722.’
