- TitleReads- Capt. Addington is selling estate at Goldington; also tithes; Duke's lands there trifling. An obscure point about 3 r. in Newnham Holme. Hewlatt declines going to Castle mills; prefers waiting at Oakley for chance to get farm, more anxious for farm than mill. He says old Clayton is leaving farm at Cople & had asked Tavistock for that. Must look elsewhere - don't doubt a man of capital can be had for such a mill; out of question to keep present tenant. Wriothesley has not sent plan of Chenies workhouse.
