February 1914 Rainfall figures 1913 - 1918 200 year old Church clock repaired. May 1914 Party of Belgian refugees, arrived in Sharnbrook given a home at Peartree Cottage Sharnbrook. 18 October 1914 Pepita Behrend charged with being an alien enemy - case eventually dismissed. Oct - Nov 1914 Great Blizzard. 27 - 28 March 1916 Death and Funeral of Farrier Sergeant Page of Barley Croft - as result of motor accident. September 1916 Notes on institution of Canon Harry Coate re acreage, rateable value etc. 6 Church Bells recast, new clock provided, dedicated 8 June 1924 Electric light provided in church 1927 1st year of Sharnbrook Art Society (run by Kate Parbury) 1927 Opening of fund for new church Hall 1928. NB Details of weddings and funerals during this period. Useful for history of soldiers from Sharnbrook during World War I. 1913 - 1928
