    Fisher willing to come to tithe agreement for fir & larch, but claims lop & top of timber made into faggots & billets, - leaves it to you to allow him composition, (Wavendon new heath, 152 a.). On the remainder of the woods he receives an old composition £27 (details). Loton is grateful for opportunity to succeed Kent; hopes salary will be raised to £130 per annum (£30 more than Kent). In my office I propose to try Fane, who writes a very fair hand & is a tolerable accountant; suggest £40 per annum the first year, 2nd £50, 3rd £60-70. Whitbread, Todd & the teams. Price of Bath stone for Blore: Wing's price is 2d. less per foot-cube than what I could get here.
