Note about settlement of wife & family of George Earl formerly of Clifton (2 June 1811) Note on removal of Mary Haddow (1 Feb. 1813) Supervision of the fire engine; concerning filling in the moat; the cage to "be removed from Mr. Cooper's house in Duck Lane to the pound in Wm. Kirkby's field." (1839) Drainage (1862/63); repair of culvert under river. Highway Fund mentioned (1866); smallpox precautions (April/July 1872); platting schools, 1872; pump in Shefford Lane to "be placed within the pound". At reverse end: "Inventory of furniture in the Poor House" 1821.
