- TitleHitchins will be at abbey 13th; will need some cement & plaster of Paris, & a couple of handy masons, to asist him in fixing specimens of minerals & fossils. I find the windows of grotto here [Endsleigh] are 6" lower than those at Woburn, so they must be lowered 6" to give enough light. Hitchins should be lodged in the abbey, so that he may be near his work. I conclude you can get a sufficient number of pebbles of different colours for floor of grotto, mixed with marble.
