Married, returned to Royston with certificate, remained there with Elizabeth his first wife, whom he married at Southill, she died at Royston during his residence, which was sometime under one year. After wife's death, worked for one Thomas Pateman in Shefford as a malster, earning 9 gn. for year's work. Returned to Royston and married Elizabeth his second wife. Paid parish taxes at first, but never since. (33 yrs.)
