    Reciting will of Mary Baskerville, spinster, Land to be purchased to bring annual rent of 20s., under ii) as Trustees for distribution to the poor. Will dated 21 August 1724. Land as follows: - in Grovebury Field: 2a. in furlong shooting in King's Mead: W: land of John Ashwell, E: John Foster, S: the Headland. In occ. of Thos. Watere and 1½a. in Long Leadon, bounded W: Arthur Tarsey - in Middle Field: 1½ lands shooting into Great Hunts Way, bounded E; the Glebe Land, W: William Gurney - in Shenley Field: 2 head leys lying at Shenley Hill under Poynton's Piece, N: Thos. Ashworth's ley ground. and ½a. shooting west on Hewards Balke, N & S: land of Arthur Matthews. And all appurtenances. To be held in trust for disposal of profits on Rogation Day, except quit rent of 8d. per annum. Witnesses: Jn.Salisbury, Tho.Ashwell
