i) Wm Whitehead, Bradwell, Lymington, War. freemason ii) Robert Downes, Leighton Buzzard, apothecary John Welles, Leighton Buzzard, draper Giles Firth, Leighton Buzzard, haberdasher Covenant by (i) to (ii) that before the 24th Aug next he will take down the weathercock with the iron and ironwork now set on the uppermost part of the spire of the steeple belonging to Leighton Buzzard church and will replace it together with a good, substantial iron spindle and repair 6 foot of the spire, and keep in repair the top six foot for the next 21 years.
