- note that an inspection of 1952 had recommended rehanging; - detailed report on the bells and frame including information that the bells were: treble of 1796 by Robert Taylor of St.Neots [Huntingdonshire]; 2nd of 1602 by Hugh Watts of Leicester; 3rd of 1663 by John Hodson of London; 4th of 1614 by Newcombe of Leicester; tenor of 1623 by John Keene of Woodstock [Oxfordshire] and that rehanging would cost £353; - note that Whitechapel Bell Foundry had rehung the bells in 1892 for £124; - Diocesan Advisory Committee recommendations; - letter from John Taylor & Co. apologising that all was not right with the bells after rehanging
