- desire to dispose of £333/13/- of 1960/70 Savings Bonds held with Charity Commissioners and refusal by the Charity Commissioners to use of only up to half that sum (1953); - purchase of an 1828 pipe organ for £260 from Williamson & Hyatt of Trunch [Norfolk] (1956); - recommendation that the new organ be tuned twice a year and resulting contract (1957); - problem with Middle C sticking and continuing to play without a finger depressing the key (1957); - merger of Williamson & Hyatt with Cedric Arnold of Thaxted [Essex] (1961)
