Scope and Content
Documents of Bedford School Board and the Bedford Borough Education Committee received from Bedford Town Hall in 1946; and archives of Bedford Borough Education Department; with some later additions. For convenience of reference, the documents of the old School Board and the Borough Education Committee have been catalogued as a continuous series. It should be remembered, however, that documents prior to 1903 belong to the School Board whilst documents after 1903 belong to the Bedford Borough Education Committee.
