Scope and Content
These lists are unsorted and have not been arranged in any way. The lists comprise parochial returns of pauper lunatics [1828 - 1841], poor law union returns of pauper lunatics [1842 - 1930], lists of patients in Bedford asylum [1846 - 1859] and lists of patients in Three Counties Asylum, Arlesey [1868 - 1921]. These last two patient lists are on printed forms.
