    Deed Poll by Francis Turner and Frances Izod - several suits in law had been brought by Richard Smith of Woburn, gentleman against John Clarke and John Selion[?] of Woburn for trespass by them for a right they pretended to have to a passage into and from a gatehouse and yard belonging to the house where Richard Smith lived in Woburn by virtue of a pretended lease from Francis Turner of Duck Lane, Westminster, gentleman to John Clarke on 14 Sep 1719 for 12 years upon which John Clarke had threatened to commence an avoid at law against Francis Turner; - since making the lease Francis Turner had conveyed the inheritance or reversion of any land he had held in Woburn to Francis Izod of Duck Lane, Westminster; - each of the parties had produced deeds to the gate house and yard and after perusal counsel decided that the sole right belonged to Richard Smith as proprietor and sole owner Operative Part: - Francis Turner and Frances Izod granted sole use of the gatehouse and yard to Richard Smith; - Richard Smith granted use of the passage and gatehouse to the tenants of Francis Turner and Frances Izod's (except John Clarke); - Francis Turner and Frances Izod agreed to pay 6/- per annum to Richard Smith Witnesses: - Benjamin Smith; - Henry Cecil
