Correspondence from Adam to St. John [copy]: Reads- feels pain at doing anything disagreeable to St.J. Farrers say your trustees will not advance unless Sidebottom's objections to title satisfied. These are not substantial, & some fanciful. Duke cannot remove 39 objections. He has decided to resume property, with great reluctance. Time & failure of efforts to settle have tired him out. Wrote to Parkinson. Underwood cut should be estimated.
