    Award of exchange by Michael Rowed of Cheverells Green, Flamstead, Herts., gent; Frederick Gough of Cunningham Hill Farm, St.Peters in the liberty of St. Albans, Herts. gent. - the Commissioners Reciting strict settlement, 15 July 1818 of Marquis of Bute, giving trustees powers of exchange Also reciting the Luton Inclosure Act and Award of 1810, which allotted 8a.2r.10p. in Great Moor to the Commoners to be used as a common, and laid down rules for use thereof NOW The Commoners of Luton give TO Trustees of Marquis: - three pieces of meadow land marked A (4a.1r.14p), B (3r.29p) and C (33p.) on plan, and site of the new turnpike road there The Trustees give to the Commoners: - six pieces of land marked D (1r.34p.), E (5a.18p.), F (2a.2r.34p.), G (1a.2p.), H (2r.) and J (39p.), and a parcel of waste ground lying next the said Moor called Broadwater adjoining road from Luton to Dunstable; for a common PLAN attached Reserved right to Trustees and tenants of cottages and premises in the centre of the Moor to have liberty of access from said cottages etc. to new turnpike road from Luton to Barton through a gateway on said Moor, in lieu of their right to a footpath All expenses of the exchange to be borne by the trustees Note of enrollment in Chancery 30 April 1832 [Copy signatures] 10 December 1831
