Have measured (with Bloodworth, Lord St.John's surveyor) measured timber on Robin's Farm & Flint's wood, but not finally settled. Not surprised Lord St.John wants more; no hasty assent, unless he give up some pasture near Gell's house (shamefully alienated on enclosure). Met Lord Ludlow at Knotting; rode over Maxey's Farm. Interviews with Islip's executors, - won't give up at Michaelmas. Possibility of Lord. Ludlow giving up Stevington Park to Tavistock. No news from Wilshere. Clapham
