Reads- Think, if there is doubt, Gell should have allowance for draining - important improvement; but cannot agree to abate rent. The rise in the funds must not affect position - might have fallen. Hope to hear from about Robin & the wood to which Lord St. John's purchase is now restricted. Sale should be concluded by Michaelmas. Lord St; John's requirements. Right to road to Melchbourne House. Have told him you will settle things. The idea of Lord St.John being required to take Gell's is given up. Glad Lord Ludlow pleased about Knotting. Have you heard from Wilshere about Beckerings pk.? Clapham to be disposed of. Miss Adam obliged about honey.
