Woburn: Reads- Directions for tenants in arrear at approaching audit; Duke hopes example of Cooke of Steppingley will be effective, but if arrears not paid distraint will follow. Cottagers who constantly evade payment will be given notice to quit. Duke points out that several Woburn fences are in a bad state.
