Letter to mother [Agnes Gambriel] from 17903 Percy Gambriel, B Company, 2nd Battalion, the Bedfordshire Regiment. Out of hospital, but still waiting to go back to Regiment. On light duties. Wants to keep braces as evidence of where the bullet went through. Doesn’t have so many colds as did at Ampthill [Camp?]. Rain makes him think of old George Hallworth and his harvest.
