(devisees in trust of lands hereinafter assigned under the will of Thomas Hankin, late of Potton, gent., deceased., nephew and heir at law of William Hankin late of Potton, gent. also deceased, and also devisee in fee named in his will) 3) John Abbott of March, Isle of Ely, Cambs., surgeon and apothecary, and Martha his wife (late Martha Hankin, widow, sole executrix named in the will of the said Thomas Hankin) 4) Charles Franklyn of Potton, surgeon and apothecary 5) George Emery of Potton, currier 6) Edmund Bumberry of Potton, turner (a person nominated by and in trust for 4) and 5) respectively) Reciting: Mortgage by demise for 500 years, 31 July 1783 i) Thomas Hankin ii) Mortgage by i) to ii) for £120 with interest, of: - all that piece of inclosed arable land in Windmill Field, Potton, (4a.), then & now in occ. of Judith Apperley, widow :S & W. waste ground belonging to freeholders, copyholders and cottagers of Potton :N. Lot of land then belonging to Henry Wain (?) in the said Windmill Field :E. road leading to lands in the same field - also all those two undivided third parts or shares (the whole into three parts equally to be divided) of and in all those several pieces or parcels of arable land lying dispersedly in the fields of Potton (16a.) then late in tenure of James Hall, & now of Judith Apperley Whereas principal sum of £120 remains unpaid, together with £7 4s. 3d. for interest - in all £127 4s. 3d. owing to 1) NOW Equal sums of £63 14s. 3d. paid by 4) and 5) to 1), at the direction of 2) and 3), premises assigned by 1) to 6) for remainder of term in trust for 4) and 5).
