    Abstract of title of Thomas Sworder to George Public House with three tenements adjoining and Royal Oak public house with one tenement adjoining, Dunstable (I) Conveyance of 8 Mar 1877 Parties: (i) Hon.Charles Alexander Gore, Commissioner of Her Majesty's Woods, Forests and Land revenues; (ii) Thomas Sworder Operative Part: - (i) conveyed (a)-(b) to (ii) for £550 paid into the Bank of England Property [as shown on included plan]: (a) land on N side of Church Street or Luton Road, Dunstable containing 22½ poles with four messuages built thereon one of which was known as George public house all bounded: N by public footpath from Dunstable to Leagrave; E by land in occupation of Charles Duncome; S by Church Street; W by land lately demised to Mary Brown; (b) land on N side of East Street or Church Street or Luton Road, Dunstable with Lawyers Arms public house, now called Royal Oak with cottage adjoining both built on 12½ poles abutting: W on a passage; N on the public footpath from Dunstable to Leagrave; E on land in occupation of Theodore Harris (II) Certificate of 15 Mar 1877 "endorsed in margin that duplicate thereof had been duly deposited in the Office of Land Revenues and Inrolments"
