    i) Citation with intimation for faculty for the restoration of the church18 July 1864 ii) Faculty for the restoration of the church according to the plans and specifications of Mr. G.E. Street, architect, at an estimated cost of £4000 for the interior and £5000 to £6000 for the exterior [note on sources of funding]: to remove the east window and replace it by a more suitable one; to remove the present pews and benches from the chancel; to raise the floor about two feet above the floor of the nave and pave it with flags and encaustic tiles; to restore the original dwarf screen and benches and erect two prayer desks one on either side of the west end of the chancel; to remove the present pews from the body of the church and erect open oak benches; to place the pulpit in its original position against the first pillar in the nave; to remove the Baptisterium to the west end of the church; to remove the present stoves and pipes and warm the church with a hot water apparatus; to restore the north porch, rebuild the south porches and repair the stonework of the walls externally and internally.
