Correspondence from Farey, John, Woburn to Daniel Beaumont: Reads- Mrs. Pye and the fee-farm rent (see R3/1758). Please ask her to direct someone at Ampthill to pay this small sum at audit there regularly as due. Assessment paper - I sent it to Gotobed, who said Duke had directed him to write to Lessley of Houghton Regis (the commissioners' clerk) to say he did not intend to appeal. A query on same. Relations with Thorney & West Wratting.
