When did Ralph French start his tenancy on a farm at Eversholt, £59 p.a.? Apparently he succeeded Ives c.1720. When did Hatton enter on a farm at Woburn, £48 p.a.? It was before 1729 "in which year the oldest ledger in my possession commences." Please refer to your books & rentals & inform me by return, as Lady Day draws on & we are ignorant of the time of entry. A friend, Elliot, intercedes to procure him organ-building for Covent Garden church.
