    John Burgoyne, Bart., Lord of the Manor Samuel Snoden, steward Surrender out of Court on 19 March 1707/8 by William Edwards and Anna his wife before Richard Lee, gent., deputy steward, of - all that messuage, tenement, garden, and appurts. in Potton, late in occ. of James Browne - all that Close of pasture (1½a.) - all those two pieces or parcels of meadow called Lamas Meadow (4a), except the Upper and Lower Swetsourds [?] - all that piece of Lamas ground (½a), called Rennsparke - all that cottage or tenement with appurts. in Potton, in the occupation of Thomas Shatbolt - another cottage etc., late in occ. of ... Squire, widow Surrendered to the use of Alexander Atkinson, gent. Annual quit rent, 2s. 2d. Endorsed: "this is the Coppy that I took up for all Mr. Edwards Estate in Potton, three tenements and one cottage with the orchard and three closes and four acres and half of Lamas ground the yearly quit rent is 2.2 this is surrendered to the use of my will."
