    John Burgoyne, Bart., Lord of the Manor Samuel Snoden, steward Surrender on the death of Alexander Atkinson, Senr., gent, of - 16a. 1½r. of land and meadow in Potton, late the land of John Atkinson - 3r. of meadow in a close in Potton, abutting on Knott's Close - 1a. of land in Pepeffarthing knowle, late the land of John Harper - certain customary messuages, tenements and hereditaments in Potton, lately of Robert Good and Mary his wife Admission of Alexander Atkinson Junr to the above mentioned premisses, and surrender to the use of his will. Annual quit rent, 4d. Endorsed: "The 16 Acres 1 Rode and half in this Coppy the yearly quitt Rent in 5.5½; one Acre of land and 3 Rode of Meadow bought of John Harper is in this Coppy the yearly quit rent is 0.4; all Mr. Good's Estate pays 17.2 A year but there is to be deducted out of his Coppy in this surrender of Good's 1s 0 A year for five tenements in Rose ally and two more for my Brothers part of this Estate and 1s 9 a year more for 7 Acres of Arrable land : the hole that is to be deducted is 3.9 a year so what is in this Coppy of Goods must pay 13.5 a year quit rent. All is surrendered to the use of my will." Also endorsed: "Mr. Goods his coppy which I took up after my Fathers death, and 2 other one of Jo Harper the other for 16 acres one roode and halfe of land and meadow these three are all in this Coppy"
