    1) Potton Vestry held at the Bull Inn, Potton 2) Roger Johnson, breechesmaker of Potton Agreement that 2) shall farm the workhouse at 4s. 6d. per head old and young, to have their earnings and employ them at any way to his advantage. He to provide a sufficient quantity of good wholesome food, with hot meals three days in the week (commonly called Pott days), and to find coals etc. 2) to be able if necessary to lock up the Workhouse at 7 o'Clock in winter, and at 9 o'clock in summer. 2) to find washing and to provide the washerwoman with soap, and to be paid for making sheets, shirts and anything else they may want except mending. No person to be permitted to lodge in the workhouse except paupers. If corn continue at the high price 'tis now, 'tis to be left in the Breasts of the Churchwardens and Overseers to advance what they think proper; if price of corn falls, no deduction to be made.
