    Removal order for Mary Griffin and her child from the parish of St. Paul, Covent Garden, London, her husband Thomas Griffin being a soldier in the first regiment of Foot Guards who "hath lately embarked for Foreign service".To be sent to Potton via the parish of St.Pancras, Middx., and thence to Barnet, Hatfield, Baldock, and Potton, and to be allowed 2½p. per mile.14 Dec 1813. Attached: Certificate that Mary Griffin is the wife of Thomas Griffin and that she is entitled to allowances for her journey from London to "Paling, Bedfordshire", signed by Henry D'Oyly, Captain in the Regiment. 14 December 1813 Endorsed: notes of payment of allowances along the route.
