    Vagrants pass from Mile End Old Town, Stepney, Middx. 29 July 1772, with examination "husband has often told her that he was born in the parish of Husborne Crawley and that he lived a yearly servant with a farmer for upwards of one year and received wages within the said parish before he was married, and that he never gained any other settlement. He died about six years ago, and she has done no act or deed to gain any subsequent settlement" 29 July 1772 Endorsed: "She was Transported for Robing Glover Sadler" Also endorsed: List of persons that reside within the parish of Husborne Crawley that are between the age of Eighteen and Forty Five years old, liable to be drawn in the Militia, March 1775 [list of some 37 names] and note "any person inserted in this List may make his apeal on Friday next at the George Inn in Woburn, March 24th 1775" 1775
