Recites that i) have applied for loan towards expense of taking down old parish church, or considerable part, and building new one on more convenient site. Mortgage of rates to secure £700 and interest. 10 July 1848. Declaration by John Mendham at Maulden that he was a witness of the above and that parties I hold the above stated offices. 11 July 1848.
