Letters regarding child, previously at Dr Barnado's Homes, adopted by a widower who died. The widower was living with someone who was not his wife. There was uncertainty about what was to happy to the boy and another boy of the union between the widower and his friend. It transpired that the husband was not a widower at the time of the adoption.
