  • Scope and Content
Reads- Has in 2 cases added another life to leases for lives (details), subject to Macnamara's approval. A house at Okehampton has fallen down, and tenant is unable to rebuild & will surrender lease; there is an offer for it - the Duke has ruins enough in O. without being encumbered with more. Masters of Milton wants a rack term of 21 years, offers 20 guineas, if I can get him to more I will. Jones lately in a transient call said he would send me plan of intended bridge at Oreston from Mr. Bray's office, but it has not come.; useless for me to apply, but probably an order from Bedford Office might bring it me. Paulby was not paid for it, therefore not disposed to look for draft.
