Hubbard esq. & others minister & churchwardens of Arlesey -- 2 r. 3 p. belonging to the White Horse inn, on trust to permit buildings to be erected to be used as a school for educating children & adults of the labouring, manufacturing & other poorer classes in Arlesey; to be open to inspectors as provided by Order in Council, 1840; and conducted according to the principles of the National Society and under the supervision of the officiating minister; the Committee to consist of minister, curate (if any), & 3 others, the first being Sam. Bedford Edwards jr., Chas. Purser of Arlesey, and Jas. Long of Henlow; vacancies to be filled by votes of contributors for current year at meeting convened (1 vote per 10s. sub., maximum 6 votes); master or mistress to be Anglican.
