Includes authority to sell Porter's House which is described as 'A dwelling-house, coach-house, stable, and other buildings, with garden at the rear, situate on the north side of and having a frontage of 38 feet and 6 inches or thereabouts to Mill Street, in the Parish of St Cuthbert...having a depth of 241 feet or thereabouts, and containing in the whole 9,300 square feet or thereabouts, now in the occupation of Mr Thomas Simpson Porter, bounded on the north by property of E P Rose, esq, on the east by property of Mr W J Porter and others, and on the west by property of Mr William Mead and Henry Thornber and others.'
