    Acknowledgement by Thomas Smith, Robert York and William Chapman "that we was the persons that shook the Gates belonging to the Old Meeting on Tuesday night the 4th...which caused the Stone to fall off of one of the Pillars & other Damages to be done which we are very sorry for having no spite against the place or any person belonging thereto nor any thought of Doing it before we came to the place..." They agree to pay damages and bind themsleves in the sum of £20 against any of them damaging the property in future. The acknowledgement made out to Stephen Odell, trustee and witnessed by William Coombs. It is in its original letter type cover with seal marks.
