    Summons issued to John Grey, Foreman in charge of the station yard at Girtford, who did feloniously did steal a quantity of coals to the value of 4/-, the property of John Powers, Coal Merchant of Girtford. Information of Frederick Charter, Engine Driver to Thomas Benbow Kitchener of Potton who, was in charge of 2 traction engines going to Radwell; he stopped at Girtford Siding and asked John Grey for 4cwt of coals for which he paid 4/-. Information of Alfred Vigers, Gate Keeper at Girtford who saw John Grey serve 4 bags of coals the property of John Powers. Grey did not weigh the coals. 2 months hard labour.
