Circular from the Education Department, Whitehall, informing all schools that damage is being done to postal telegraph lines by stonethrowing and that a talk to the children is necessary, impressing on them the great expense, annoyance and punishment if caught (imprisonment and perhaps flogging), and also a warning that stone throwing had led to the death of an engine driver. Repeating similar memorandum of 21 August 1875.
