Ministers of the meeting are elected. There are various notes in the archive about how this election should take place usually it seems as a reminder to the trustees and the deacons when arranging a vote. Every member to vote. 'That such election may truly express the wish and feeling of the church, it shall not take place until after a meeting of the church, specially convened for the purpose of nominating a Minister for the Pastorate, has been held. And a vote of at least two-thirds of those present shall be required in favour of the Minister nominated in order to make the election valid. In no case shall the name of more than one Minister be placed before the meeting. The vote shall be by ballot paper distributed in the meeting.'
