Scope and Content
Nathaniel Norris, barber, married Ann Farnel in 1719 ["As far as he remembers"]. Lived together in Ampthill in a house and land of £7 per annum. Paid parish dues; was parish constable. In 1722 married second Ann, widow, of Maulden, who there owned a house where they lived together for c. 2 weeks. He left her c. 1729 Ampthill granted him a certificate for any parish of his own choice.
