- Scope and ContentThe parchment cover is part of a deed dated 8 Sept. 1703 between Sir Edwin Sadleir of London, Bart., and Thomas Deacon and Lawrence Deacon of ... in the County of Bedford, yeomen, relating to a manor house known as Temple Dynsley, in Hertfordshire. Volume includes: (at front) note on resignation of Richard Cowley as Parish Clerk of Upper and Lower Gravenhurst after over 40 years "owing to a change in the time of service at Upper Gravenhurst which had hitherto happened at the contrary end of the day", 1794.
