- TitleCorrespondence from Martin, William, Woburn Park to Percival Beaumont: Reads- Garden in very g. order, crops good (except few early peas & beans caught by late frost); good crop of peaches, nectarines, cherries & plums; very few apricots; plenty of gooseberries & currants, pears, strawberries. Cannot give you a perfect account of gis [figs?] & grapes, as the bearing wood of the figs is much cut & the vines are not forward enough; cannot tell yet of raspberries. I acquainted Thomas Hardwick of your order- he will send account tomorrow. I shall continue to send garden stuff to town once a week till the family come, or oftener if wanted. Transcript available
