    Correspondence from Martin, William, Woburn Park to Percival Beaumont: Reads- Flood has broken 44 yrds. of garden wall next to the dog kennel & done damage in garden, having carried away & broke many bell-glasses (must replace); it was so high as to run over the hot beds in the melon ground; all forward cucumber plants lost. Damage also done at kennel, the torrent carrying all the fences before it, & it was with difficulty the hounds was got out. Transcript available
