Scope and Content
i.e. to take down and rebuild the nave with the addition of new north and south aisles and to provide a new roof, to restore the interior of the south transept and adapt the north transept as an organ chamber and vestry, to form a paved trench round the outside of the church to keep the walls dry, to fix the Norman door from the north wall of the present nave in the new south aisle, to place the present seats in the north and south aisles and provide new benches of deal for the nave and south transept, to take up the floor and relay the same with tiles, to remove and refix the pulpit, to reglaze the windows, and to provide a warming apparatus. The work to be carried out to the plans and specifications of E.M. Forster, architect, London, at a cost of £2000 of which £1150 has already been received or promised. Services to be performed in the chancel and transepts during the progress of the work
