  • Scope and Content
From: R Shafto Hawks, Southwark; To: Thomas Sworder, Hertford “Mr.Heath will be glad to see you tomorrow at 12 o’clock or as soon afterwards as you can mange, as he has to be in court after that time. You will therefore have to get to see him as soon as you can and I fear previous to you seeing Mr.Moss, that however will not affect the question of selling the draft bill which is now ready. I do not think there will be any necessity for Mr.Willmott to attend at Mr.Heath’s or Mr.Moss’s. You can let us know as to the latter and will obtain the draft bill from Mr.H when settled between you. He has first received your note and will send you tomorrow, to Mr.Heath what he proposed replying to. You will make such alterations or additions as you think best. Mr.Willmott will be here up to ½ past 3 tomorrow afternoon and will be glad to see you if you have an opportunity of coming over.”
