Board School created in 1876 and split into separate schools for Boys and Girls in 1885, reamalgamated in 1904 as a Council Mixed School, became a school for boys only in 1925
Council Boys created in 1925 when the mixed school reverted to teaching boys only, became a Senior Mixed School in 1931, CSM in 1946; closed in 1955
Council Girls and Infants created in 1925 by adding junior girls to the Council Infants School; boys were added to form a JMI in 1931, became a CP in 1946 and a Lower on comprehensive reorganisation
