The new Beer Act has not interfered with me not having lost a single licence – 20 have been lost in this devision and of these 16 or 17 in Luton. Mr Bennett has taken the Harpenden Brewery of Mrs Healey. He has been very unfortunate having lost 7 licenses. Trade is not any better yet.”
