    W Church Yard and Vicarage Garden E Other land of i) N Roxton to Tempsford Road S Other land of i) as in map on deed On trust to permit buildings erected thereon to be used as a school for the education of children and adults, or children only, of the poorer classes in Roxton Such school shall at all times be open to inspection of the Inspector of Schools and shall be conducted in accordance with the principles of the National Society Principal officiating minister of the Parish shall superintend the religious and moral instruction of the scholars. He may direct that the premises be used for a Sunday School under his exclusive control Otherwise superintendance, control and management to be vested in a committee consisting of the principal officiating minister, the curate, if appointed by the Minister, such Churchwardens as shall be members of the said Church and four other persons of whom the following shall be first appointed: - Rev R Delap - John Wood Ayres, Colesden, farmer - Joseph Ford, Colesden, farmer - William Addington, Chawson, farmer Such other persons continuing to be contributors of 20s each per annum to the funds of the school and to be members of the Church of England and either to have a beneficial interest, to extent of a life interest in the Parish or to be resident there or in an adjoining Parish Any vacancy to be filled by election of votes of majority of contributors of 10s each per annum to school funds, and members of the Church of England and resident in the Parish (as before), as shall be present at a meeting for the purpose or shall have voted in writing beforehand. One vote for each sum of 10s up to maximum of 6 votes. Everyone chosen, and every Churchwarden, to sign book declaring membership of Church of England Master or Mistress of the School to be member of the Church of England One member of the committee to act as Secretary and keep minutes in books provided for the purpose Principal officiating minister to be Chairman. Questions brought to meeting to be decided by majority vote of those present. Chairman to have casting vote. If dispute over prayers to be used in the school, exclusion of any book on religious grounds, or dismissal of any teacher, then to be communicated in writing to the Bishop of the Diocese. His decision to be put into immediate effect Other disputes to be referred to the President of the Privy Council and to the Bishop. Lord President may appoint Inspector to represent him and the Bishop may appoint a beneficial clergyman of the diocese. They may jointly appoint a JP (being a lay member of the Church of England) as a third arbitrator. If do not do so within 30 days then Archbishop and Lord President may jointly appoint an arbitrator. Decision of arbitrators to be put into immediate effect If any teacher is dismissed, having received notice in writing, shall not have any further interest in Office or School Committee may, in January, select three ladies, members of the C of E, to assist them in management of Girls' and Infants' Schools.
