- all that piece of land in the parish of Great Barford (1r. 5p.) being part of the hereditaments conveyed to 1) by indenture dated 13 June 1842 :
W. Barford Street (frontage 97 feet) :
S. gardens in the occupation of Thomas Cousins and James Robinson (depth 100 feet, east to west) :
E. meadow or close belonging to 2) (bounded 110 feet, N to :
N. lane or road leading to premises in the occupation of Thomas Thody
For use as a site for a school and residence for the school-master, on trusts as follows:
School to be conducted upon the principles of the National Society To be open to inspection by H.M. Inspectors of schools. Minister to have charge of moral and religious instruction. Committee of Management to consist of the Minister, Curate, and three other persons, the first being Rev. Francis Martin, clerk, senior bursar at Trinity College, Cambridge, Richard Francklin Esq. of Gonalston, Notts., and Benjamin Jefferies of Great Barford, farmer. [duties etc. listed] Endorsed: numerous amendments by solicitor to National Society and by the Privy Council Office. Not executed.
