- Scope and ContentFrom: Thomas Sworder, Luton; To: Thomas Sworder, Wallfield House, Water Lane, Brickenden "I thought I wrote to say H.Vyse had agreed to pay the money at different times instead of the money being paid to your account all at once. H.Vyse has paid to different parties sums amounting to £3,325.10.1 during the month & he has written to ask whether I have signed the agreemt to assign all interest I may become entitled to under the wills of Rd.Vyse & Thos Vyse. You will recollect you were to prepare an agreemt as H.Vyse is exor under both wills it might perhaps be done by way of authority to H.Vyse to receive the money & apply it towards repayment of the £5,000. I have arranged to pay E.Burr in a fortnight. I suppose you will not require copy will of old Mr.Vyse. I have not heard anything from Royston since you last wrote to me about Thurnall's letter. Charles wants me to go down to Merthyr & I think of going on Saty if I can manage it. I hope Aunt is better for the sea air".
